Director of Learning & Organizational Development
A Day in the Life
The Director of Learning & Organizational Development designs and leads comprehensive development strategies that support growth at every level of the organization. This position works closely with senior leaders to identify learning needs, promote engagement, and implement programs that develop talent, enhance performance, and align with organizational goals. You’ll also lead a small but mighty team and cultivate a culture of innovation, leadership, and continuous improvement.

• Leads the development and execution of learning strategies that align with organizational goals and values
• Designs and evaluates engaging training programs to foster individual and team growth
• Oversees leadership development, mentoring, and succession planning efforts
• Assesses and strengthens culture and engagement through data-driven strategies
• Coaches and develops a team of learning professionals to drive innovation and organizational impact
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years in learning, organizational development, or related field, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and change management
• Proven success designing, implementing, and measuring effective development programs
• Strong leadership and coaching skills; able to engage and influence across all levels
• Experience with LMS systems and other digital learning platforms
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
• Ability to lead cultural initiatives and use metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Comfortable managing budgets and leveraging technology and external resources
