Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution Subject Matter Expert to join our team.
This is a Hybrid position location in the National Capital Region.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Help translate functional requirements identified by system users to the technical team – helping to ensure technical solutions resolve the intent of the identified requirement
- Support user training when requested – helping new users make the connection between the functions of system and the Air Force Program, Planning, and Benefit processes
- Assist with help desk functions, in person, or over the phone or virtually
- Help developers translate technical functionality to users such that users can apply the knowledge to perform daily tasks
- Provide support to other systems, as requested and approved by the Program Manager
- SMEs shall be present at the Pentagon or other primary duty location each day during normal operating hours or, if approved, optional methods such as telework or working from the contractor’s home office can be implemented.
- SMEs may also be required to be present during after-hour/surge workload periods
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience specific to the DoD Program, Planning and Budget (PPB) process
- A minimum of 2 years’ Air Force PPB experience
- Extensive knowledge of the PPB process
- Provide Air Force PPB process support, as required
- Ability to understand the AF PPB process and translate the processes into the specific requirements used to develop system
- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance
- 10+ years or more experience specific to the Air Force PPB process
Clearance Requirements:
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
