Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company’s Air Force Systems organization is currently seeking a Senior Government Relations Manager to support Air Force Systems in Arlington, VA.  These roles will interface with the Department of Defense and require strong interpersonal and communication skills.

This role will be a primary interface between the Boeing Company and associated programs and headquarters Air Force to provide information exchange and facilitate a collaborative relationship.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages Government Relations employees and mid-level managers developing, coordinating and implementing programs to advocate the Company's business interests, including the analysis of laws and regulations and coordination with government/industry officials and agencies.
• Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
• Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
• 5+ years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working at the Pentagon

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Served in the United States Air Force
• Experience working with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV)
• Experience in the acquisition environment, requirements generation and/or programming within the US Department of Defense (DOD) and/or the Defense Industry

Summary pay range: $191,250 - $258,750
