Position Overview

Under direct supervision, performs specialized clerical tasks in preparing and maintaining payroll financial files and documents; verifies the accuracy of routine financial and payroll documents for the Home Services Payroll Unit, maintains required control records.

Essential Functions

  • Performs specialized clerical work in preparing and maintaining payroll financial files and documents.
  • Handles correspondence and phone inquiries pertaining to home services payroll provider's and set up in the payroll system.
  • Reviews and enters the new personal assistants into the payroll system daily, as well as any name or address changes needed.
  • Assists with the entry of union cards, W-4's, and debit cards into the payroll system.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of high school.
  • Requires one (1) year of office experience, including bookkeeping work.

Work Hours: 8:30 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday
