PC Depot technicians at R3 are part of a rapidly growing team and are an integral part of our company’s foundation of our support services. As part of our client services team, you will gain knowledge and experience in new technologies and hardware to help grow your skillset. You will have the hands – on opportunity to witness our daily operations inside a true MSP by being onsite daily at our headquarters. Your day-to-day tasks will include, but are not limited to, the list below:


Responsibilities: 

  • Set up, modify, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications.
  • Install applications and computer peripherals.
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Maintain documentation by notating important information related to client PC setups.
  • Ensure inventory is properly maintained, organized, and documented.
  • Implement full IT Asset Lifecycle for all client and internal machines.
  • Manage internal and client hardware inventories of computers and peripherals. Request additional equipment as necessary.
  • Record technical issues and solutions in logs.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • The ability to deliver excellence independently and as a team and excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competence in the most recent versions of Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with hardware upgrades and repairs, such as memory upgrades, hard drive swaps, and other internal PC components.
  • Solid working knowledge of the Windows Operating System.
  • Hands-on experience performing work related to disk encryptions, image creations, image deployments, Apple products, Office365 and Microsoft Office Applications.
  • A minimum of one technical certification, such as A+ or an Associate’s Degree related to Computer Science/IT or working towards a degree related to Computer Science/IT.
  • Strong communication skills
