Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.
Work Schedule:
M-F. No weekends, no holidays-Casual, Must have worked in PPH prior.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a school of nursing; Associate degree/Diploma in Nursing required.
- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
- ACLS
- Minimum of 3 years Critical Care Experience within the last 5 years required to include airway management, initiating vasoactive drips and successful leadership in emergent patientcare situations.
- Must have experience with moderate sedation and/or bed-side procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
- Recent EP Lab or Cath Lab experience strongly preferred.
- ANCC preferred.
- Must work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
