Join the Aero Thermal Design (ATD) team within Gas Turbine Engineering as a Sr. Engineering Manager and lead the charge in revolutionizing the Structures Thermal and Secondary Flows team! In this exciting role, you'll be at the forefront of driving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost improvements in the thermal regime across our cutting-edge industrial gas turbines. Engage with pioneering initiatives in New Technology (NTI), New Products (NPI), Product Cost Out (P2V), and Customer Services (MYA, RCA), while spearheading the development of lean and productivity advancements to elevate the quality and expedite our state-of-the-art physics-based design tools and methods. Job Description
What you'll do (Essential Responsibilities)
Provide strategic leadership by fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Set clear expectations and ensure effective communication within the Structures Thermal and Secondary Flows functions to promote a One Team mindset and accountability globally.
Coach and guide employees to reach their growth potential, providing regular feedback to build and sustain a high-performing team.
Lead and execute initiatives in Structures Thermal and Secondary Flows for all Gas Power objectives, including NPI, NTI, RCA, P2V, and MYA, with a focus on operational rigor and technical excellence.
Ensure team commitments are met through daily management and Genba execution. Facilitate problem-solving to maximize customer value while maintaining excellent design documentation practices.
Promote a culture of Lean and continuous improvement to enhance design speed and quality, driving consistency and efficiency across projects.
Develop methods using a data-driven approach, integrating predictions with test data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with the Advanced Design Tools organization to develop and implement cutting-edge design tools and techniques, incorporating adaptive intelligence mechanisms for enhanced innovation and efficiency.
Contribute to the development of technology roadmaps that align with the broader vision of Gas Power’s product and technology plans
What you'll bring (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
At least 10 years of relevant engineering experience

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, The base pay range for this position is $131,700.00 - $219,300.00 USD per year.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
