Job Description

The IT Solution Architect will lead end‑to‑end architecture for complex, enterprise‑grade applications. This role is responsible for designing secure, compliant, cloud‑aligned solutions while partnering closely with engineering, product, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture teams. The Solution Architect ensures alignment with organizational strategy, influences technical direction across domains, and drives architectural patterns that scale across the enterprise.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Serve as the architectural lead for major initiatives, owning solution design from concept through delivery.
• Define, document, and review architecture patterns, integration models, and cloud‑forward designs.
• Ensure all solutions meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements typical of a financial services environment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to guide implementation, navigate technical decisions, and uphold architectural integrity.
• Partner with enterprise architecture to align solutions with long‑term strategic roadmaps and technology standards.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to executives, business leaders, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Participate in architecture governance forums, design reviews, and technical steering committees.

Preferred Skills

• Proven enterprise‑scale architecture leadership.
• Strong cross‑functional influence and governance experience.
• Deep technical breadth across platforms, application architectures, cloud, and integrations.
• Familiarity with business architecture or process modeling.
• Ability to lead solutions in regulated industries (financial services preferred).
• Strong communication skills, especially when translating architecture for executives and non‑technical partners.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience participating in architecture governance committees.
• Exposure to AI concepts or AI‑enabled solution design.
• Excellent soft skills: facilitation, conflict resolution, storytelling, coaching.
• Experience with modernization frameworks or cloud migration accelerators.
