You Are:
A Client Financial Management Specialist who will act as the business/finance leader for the AFS portfolios including the client accounts and contracts. Our professionals are aligned to AFS’s own client teams and are accountable for AFS’s financial health, providing analysis and advice to program and client leads to drive better business outcomes. The organization’s primary corporate finance activities include accurate forecasting and reporting, cash flow optimization, and financial analysis. CFM is a dynamic team whose activities match the demanding pace and complexity of a growing, strategic business.

Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing financial drivers and leveraging analytics to make recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Executing Internal Controls and confirming compliance with GAAP and Federal contract requirements
- Leading forecast reviews with senior leadership and advising on monthly results, variances to plan, and risk management strategies.
- Developing innovative solutions to overcome complex revenue and profitability challenges.
- Analyzing and forecasting cash conversion expectations to optimize cash flow.
- Coordinating monthly accruals to drive accurate revenue recognition and expense activity.
- Recommending and implementing business changes to leverage emerging technologies and enable efficiencies across the Finance organization.
- Participating and leading initiatives, focusing on collaboration and inclusion within AFS and the local community.
Here's What You Need:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- 2 years of accounting or finance experience in any of the following: Corporate Finance and Accounting, Project Control, P&L Forecasting and Budgeting, or Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills
Set yourself apart with:
- Experience leading a project or team.
- Federal Contracting experience or understanding of regulatory billing requirements.
- Strong Excel skills, including an understanding of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/SUMIF functions.
- Good knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint, TM1, and QlikView
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
- California: $77,900 - $147,800
- Colorado: $77,900 - $127,600
- New York: $70,000 - $147,800
- Washington State: $82,900 - $136,100
