Role Overview

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager - Marketplace Shop to lead the consumer and partner experience for ID.me's Marketplace products. Our mission-driven team is dedicated to supporting individuals who serve our communities, including Veterans, Teachers, First Responders, and Nurses. If you're passionate about leading a rapidly growing, purpose-driven consumer marketplace, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution, driving initiatives from start to finish
• Deeply understand and empathize with user needs to create impactful solutions
• Tackle complex problems with first-principles thinking
• Define and communicate ID.me Marketplace’s product vision and strategic direction
• Set clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product success
• Write clear, detailed product requirements and documentation
• Use data and insights to prioritize features effectively
• Develop cross-functional program plans that address interdependencies across teams
• Conduct market research to explore opportunities in new markets and verticals
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive the commercial success of our products

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in consumer marketplaces or e-commerce
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• 2+ years of experience implementing AI/ML into product

Preferred Qualifications

• First principles thinker capable of decomposing complex problems into foundational elements
• Comfortable making tough decisions in ambiguity
• Skilled with AI to rapidly deliver compelling shopping experiences for ID.me members
• Track record of success delivering quantifiable results for customers and users 
• Proven track record of overcoming challenges and persevering to accomplish worthy goals
• Seeks alignment with product leadership and coordinates effectively across teams

The annual base salary listed does not include a company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity and benefits which will be determined based on experience, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location and role.
