Job Summary
Responsible for managing a large or strategically important team of digital advertising sales executives or account managers responsible for selling the organization's digital products or services. Manages all, or a large portion of, the sale of the organization's digital product or services. Sets objectives, goals and quotas for sales team. Accountable for achieving sales quotas for team and may have a personal sales quota. Manages the implementation of sales programs and tactics that will attract new key accounts and enhance sales to current customers to deliver required sales growth. Facilitates integration of sales efforts with marketing efforts. Maintains and fosters partnerships and manages and/or participates in complex contract negotiations. Utilizes managerial skills to develop team through tailored training, goal setting, and career growth planning. Works closely with cross-functional partners to develop go-to-market strategies, identify opportunities and risks within their book-of-business, and ensure their customers achieve their objectives.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for hitting revenue targets for book-of-business (assigned accounts to themselves and their team).
- Manages, trains, and develops a sales team, including developing career growth plans and performance goals.
- Develops positioning pieces, sales sheets, media packages, presentations and other collateral materials that will position the Company as a leader in the advertising community.
- Provides custom cross-media solutions to promote new business, enhance value and gain market share with clients.
- Coordinates product distribution, trafficking and overall sales tracking and ensure that the Advanced Media process is followed.
- Attends meetings and presentations with Account Executives, proactively communicate with existing and potential clients about the value of the Company's Advanced Media tools.
- Develops relationships with executive stakeholders at key accounts within book of business.
- Develops internal processes to streamline internal and external activities.
- Participates in forecasting and planning with finance for team’s book of business.
- Provides insight into customer challenges, needs, and opportunities to cross-functional stakeholders including product, marketing, engineering, customer success, and sales leadership.
- Works cross-functionally to develop go-to-market strategies and drive initiatives. Serves as an escalation point for key customer issues around pricing and commercial agreements.
- Represents company at industry events.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
