WHAT YOU WILL DO:

 

SAP Business AI is at the forefront of the AI race, leveraging its unique position in business data, process expertise. To ensure success in delivering differentiating and revenue-generating Generative AI features, we require a Product Owner (PO) to align initiatives with strategic and commercial goals, foster agility, manage risk, and drive innovation.

 

As a PO, you will orchestrate and execute portfolio processes across the AI Foundations team in SAP Business AI organization, ensuring tight alignment with SAP’s strategic and commercial AI goals. This involves managing portfolio risk by balancing short, mid, and long-term goal contributions, as well as streamlining and solidifying the value proposition of ongoing initiatives with Line of Business stakeholders and customers.

 

As a PO, you will manage a pipeline of innovation ideas and proposals for initiative/workstream candidates, shaping ideas into executable initiatives through pitches with different maturity levels assessed and evaluated. This involves engaging in both inbound and outbound idea generation, collaborating with AI product management, LoBs, and customers.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

 

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or relevant disciplines
• 10+ years of related experience in product management or related roles within the AI industry
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, especially in the context of enterprise software
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven track record of driving innovation and delivering impactful products in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with SAP's products, services, and strategic direction
• Fluency in both English and German language – verbal and written
