Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems Weapons Systems Division (WSD) International Strategy and Business Development organization is seeking an experienced and results-driven International Industrial Engagement and Offset (IE/O) Manager 3. This position will be responsible for managing industrial engagement and offset activities at the WSD level, with a focus on supporting WSD’s Business Units and Operating Units and capture teams in the development of IE/O strategies and plans. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in international business development, industrial partnerships, and IE/O requirements within the aerospace and defense industry.
This position can be in either Falls Church, Virginia; McLean, Virginia, or Linthicum Heights, Maryland. This position has a potential to reside in related Northrop Grumman locations but the three previous locations are strongly preferred. This position will report to the Director of International Strategy and Business Development for the Weapon Systems Division.
This position will contribute to the development and execution of critical IE/O strategies, engage with cross-functional teams, and help shape the future of Northrop Grumman’s global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- IE/O Strategy Development: Support the identification of synergies and opportunities across programs, divisions, and sectors to fulfill IE/O obligations. Provide strategic guidance to ensure compliance with industrial engagement and IE/O activities.
- Liaison for Corporate Initiatives: Act as a key liaison for NG Corporate and DS Sector IE/O initiatives and serve as the WSD’s primary point of contact for international IE/O activities.
- Policy Management: Oversee and manage the WSD IE/O policies, ensuring compliance with all internal and external processes.
- Data Management & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, charts, pivot tables, and other tools to track and manage the IE/O pipeline, forecast, and projects in development. Assess the WSD’s IE/O pipeline and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to support IE/O strategy development, including customer, region, and competition assessments.
- Capture Team Guidance: Provide expert guidance to capture teams on developing and assessing IE/O strategies, including pricing considerations.
- Training & Development: Lead and provide training on IE/O processes, policies, and best practices to internal stakeholders.
- Sector IE Working Group Participation: Participate in the Sector Industrial Engagement (IE) Working Group, ensuring smooth communication and coordination across teams and functions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in international business development, industrial engagement, or related fields.
