What you'll get to do:
- Assist the Consumer Events Show Manager with various administrative tasks including but not limited to recruitment, hiring, training, coaching, and end of season documentation
- Assist in the development and execution of key documentation
- May be asked to attend administrative meetings, take detailed notes, and distribute to key stakeholders
- May be asked to assist with Ambassador scheduling
- Assist with the coordination and execution of event planning, creative development, recruitment, auditions, processing, orientation, training, rehearsals, and event nights
- May be asked to assist with planning, developing, and implementing scare actor performance direction
- Coordinate daily startup meetings
- Assist in the oversight of attendance and other developmental tracking forms
- Collect, organize, and input data into spreadsheets
- Assist with the training of Supervisors of Special Events (formerly Event Stage Managers)
- Support Supervisors of Special Events in assigned sections of the park
- Primary responder for assisting Supervisors of Special Events with issues relating to guest concerns, performer concerns, Human Resources related issues, Ambassador coaching, training and more
- May be asked to act as liaison between the Entertainment festival team and the park’s Health & Safety teams
- May be asked to document injuries of Entertainment performers, in line with the park’s reporting procedures
- May be asked to assist the Health & Safety teams, as requested, with any documentation or investigation relating to any injuries or incidents relating to ambassadors, guests, or contractors
- May be asked to analyze injury statistics and prepare comparative presentations for park leadership
- Conduct walkthroughs of entertainment elements to identify potential safety concerns
- May be asked to assist the Health & Safety teams with any follow-up documentation or processes for guest or ambassador injuries/incidents
- Collect and organize event reports and other documents at the end of each rehearsal and event night
- Compose and send “end of shift” reports to key stakeholders
- Responsible for the supervision and implementation of the daily operation of Consumer Events festivals and shows; including scheduling and following up on task assignments for cast and crew.
- Responsible to mentor staff to maintain a successful team-oriented production.
- Provide over-all logistical support for the entire Entertainment Department and warehouse when needed.
- Develop, update, and follow SOPs, attendance/performance tracking, daily reports, supply requests and other documentation required for entertainment operations.
- Ensure the safety of all Team Members as well as ensure that all team members are getting required safety training and are using proper PPE.
- Responsible for supervision of areas to include but not limited to; events cast, technicians, costume/dresser staff , daily hours reporting, ambassador coaching, overtime requests, deviation/sign in sheets, theatrical and technical systems, theater safety, facility maintenance and cleanliness, monitoring show quality, scheduling and participating in or running rehearsals, daily meetings and information dissemination, team member development, team member record keeping, inventory & procurement of equipment, materials and supplies.

- Responsible for maintaining the artistic and technical integrity of the show/event and having a knowledge of all positions necessary for show operation.
- Act as front-line management representative. Act as a liaison with Production, Entertainment Technical and Operational Entertainment Management Staff.
- Responsible for coordination and implementation of special events and shows in other venues as needed.
- Responsible for assisting with Entertainment activities and special events in other facilities outside of the park as needed.
- Submit daily/weekly reports to Managers detailing all show and event related activities and other pertinent information.
