JOB SUMMARY

We are searching for enthusiastic, motivated and responsible people that have a love for coffee and would enjoy learning more about the world of specialty coffee as well as basic management skills. The Shift Leader position is the entry-level management position at Beans & Brews. Shift Leaders are responsible for making sure the Coffee House is in compliance with Beans & Brews operational standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Beans & Brews Shift Leaders are expected to meet the requirements and perform the duties of a Beans & Brews Barista.
• Shift Leaders are required to effectively manage shifts by prioritizing duties, managing people, and resolving day to day conflicts.
• Shift Leaders are required to learn cash management skills and basic POS and Computer troubleshooting skills.
• Shift Leaders must assist management in training and enforcing Beans & Brews policies and procedures.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants must enjoy working with the public and have a friendly, outgoing personality. Retail and/or customer service experience is necessary.
• Previous Shift Leader experience is preferred.
• Minimum age: 16 years
