**Job Title: Non-Certified Transportation Driver**
**Job Description: **
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Non-Certified Transportation Driver to join our team at our Assisted Living Facility in Louisiana. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of residents to various appointments, activities, and events, contributing to their overall well-being and engagement.
**Key Responsibilities: **
- Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social events, and recreational activities.
- Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Maintain and clean the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working order and meets safety standards.
- Document transportation schedules, mileage, and any special requirements or observations related to resident care.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and caregivers to coordinate transportation and respond to any relevant needs or concerns.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Help load and secure any mobility aids, such as wheelchairs or walkers, as needed.
- Create a warm and friendly atmosphere during transport, fostering positive interactions with residents.
**Working Conditions: **
- The role may require physical effort, including lifting and assisting residents.
- Flexible scheduling may be necessary, including the possibility of working weekends or holidays.

Qualifications
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Chauffeur's License is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine ability to engage with seniors.
- Previous experience working with elderly or disabled individuals is a plus.
- Ability to assist with lifting and moving residents as needed.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations is advantageous.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
