Job Description

As a member of the Business Systems and Operations team, you will drive significant revenue and productivity improvement across the global customer and business organizations. With a deep understanding and background in Salesforce CRM management, you will create value within the platform that flows through multiple systems and into all aspects of running an effective and efficient business. As a business owner, you define the strategy around using data and technology to optimize sales, marketing, service, and analytics. You will then work across IT, the global customer organization, and stakeholders throughout the company to develop outcomes that will transform customer relationships and coinciding business operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CRM system and upstream/downstream strategy and implementation including roadmap with development priorities, impact, timeline, and deployment
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure the desired outcome for each enhancement is properly scoped, documented, designed, tested, meets the requirements, and is ready for release
  • Develop and implement changes within Salesforce to enhance internal and external user experience, understanding, and effectiveness
  • Use data to drive decisions and recommendations, working with the data optimization team to guide the flow of information from input to output
  • Work across teams to understand upstream and downstream integrations and systems and quickly and permanently resolve issues
  • Improve and optimize efficiency both internal to Salesforce CRM administration as well as broader sales and business processes
  • Find and address sub-standard structure built on legacy solutions to create best in class CRM implementation and integrations
  • Create and maintain documentation and reference guides related to the Salesforce instance, and end-to-end processes and business objectives
  • Promote adoption and change management including awareness, training, and integration into existing workflow of global team
  • Coach internal team members to deepen their overall knowledge and guide them through complex scenarios and solutions
  • Lean on mix of business and technical experience to clearly and effectively communicate across multiple functions and levels from individual contributor to VP

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree from a top university in related field
  • 8+ years of experience as a business owner or developer of a CRM system
  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience and certification
  • Success growing value and adoption out of a CRM tool
  • Understanding of Agile development
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to draw connections between sales, marketing, and service objectives and data-driven and technical solutions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to quickly shift between business discussion at the executive level and detailed technical understanding and capability
