Job Description
AECOM seeks a Security Consultant to join the firm's Technology Solution Group. The successful candidate will provide high-level security consulting and design services to our wide cross-section of clients requiring large complex security solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Will produce project-specific electronic security systems plans and specifications in accordance with client requirements and security industry standards and guidelines
- Providing constant attention to rapidly changing industry trends and security technology
- Working with senior electronic security system designers to develop physical security system designs for the protection of assets in various industry sectors, including government, transportation, defense, education, and commercial business sectors
- Working alongside architects, engineers, and interior designers daily, providing unique opportunities for collaboration and personal development
- Assisting with the development of integrated security solutions for a wide cross-section of clients utilizing security solutions such as surveillance systems, access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, voice communication systems as well as integrated collaborative systems used in the security and control operation center environment
- Developing performance specifications of the design solutions that are constructible to meet the operational requirements of the project
- Establish appropriate project governance structures and processes by engaging executive sponsors and key stakeholders to develop proper thresholds and decision-making process
- Establish collaborative partnerships among stakeholders to enable scoping, financial, and resource alignment.
- Coordinate multiple departments, vendors, and assets to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of major scope milestones
