Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing strategies to drive growth in the BPH market through tactical marketing activities. This role will work closely with sales and marketing leadership, and teams across the commercial organization to partner, create and execute targeted, localized campaigns and other deliverables that will support healthcare professionals (HCPs) across the U.S and to a lesser extent, globally This role’s success is built upon the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regional business, product, customer, distribution channels, and competitors while applying their perspective and expertise in marketing, marketing communications and project management to build and execute strategic plans.  

Principal Responsibilities

•    Creation and delivery of tools and programs to support sales engagement of HCPs, following brand guidelines
•    Customize marketing materials, messaging, presentations and other marketing communications following brand guidelines   to support regional sales efforts 
•    Strategize, develop and implement targeted or localized campaigns leveraging both traditional (collateral, print advertising, direct mail, etc.) and digital (social media, digital advertising, websites, email, etc.) marketing tactics
•    Manage and organize workflow of creative assignments from initiation of the project plan through development, the med-legal review process, and delivery of finished creative materials
•    Manage external partners to develop and monitor tactics to ensure that programs run smoothly, on-schedule, and within project scope
•    Proactively develop social media content targeted to HCPs and manage the editorial calendar, in close partnership with the Marcom/Digital teams
•    Collaborate with MarCom and Digital teams to help shape the HCP social media strategy
•    Collaborate on developing plans to leverage product promotions to help generate leads at key shows and events. 
•    Continuously monitor program success and ROI analytics and reporting. Includes sales objectives, budget, advertising & and promotion requirements.
•    Adhere to state, federal, Advamed, Eucamed, company, and industry organization policies with respect to sales and physician materials, physician events, dinners, receptions, promotions, market research, physician payments, and other related activities
•    Perform other duties as assigned

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience
•    At least 2-3years of life science experience in direct-to-physician marketing preferred; field experience is a plus

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to own projects from beginning-to-end in a fast-paced environment
•    Ability to think outside the box to determine how to do things better and more efficiently
•    An eye for design and expertise in PowerPoint and other forms of communication
