Job Description

Position Purpose: 

Includes a variety of routine work, basic grounds maintenance, tank washing, and light custodial work to maintain the appearance of the facilities

• This internship opportunity is ideal for students who are interested in:
  • Waste Management and Environmental Science.
  • Natural Resources and Technical Trades.

Work Environment:

• Work Hours: Monday – Friday 6:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.
• Starting date: May 28, 2025 (if available).  Ending date no later than August 29, 2025.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background: 

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• College level standing at an accredited university or college in Spring and Fall, 2024.  (Spring, 2025 graduates are not eligible)
• Some previous grounds maintenance experience helpful.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

• Candidates interested in the Wastewater Treatment Industry.
• Enjoy working outdoors.
• Must be able to perform and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Required Certification/Licenses/Training: 

• Must pass a substance abuse test.
• Must possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.
