The Corporate Communications Content Manager II creates content that educates, informs, and inspires employees to help First Tech achieve business goals and foster employee engagement. Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful: Job Duties:
- Develops and executes communications plans, tactics and messaging strategies for assigned client partners to help achieve business goals, support enterprise initiatives and creatively tell our story
- Create content that educates, informs and inspires leaders and employees across a diverse geographic reach, primarily through intranet stories, design and procedure management
- Actively seeks out storytelling opportunities by collaborating with individual contributors, leadership and executives to drive meaningful, relevant, and actionable content
- Create and consult on enterprise procedures and intranet design, in support of our strategic priorities, employer brand and organizational culture
- Owns and executes all intranet Hub Request changes for the organization, while mentoring stakeholders and Corp Comm team members on Hub utilization, leveraging analytics where possible
- Write, design and produce communication materials for all Corporate Communication’s communication channels using established brand guidelines, processes and tools, to reach employees in their preferred channel
- Actively contributes to the maintenance of the enterprise communications content calendar, asset library, metric management and stakeholder relations
- Act as tertiary point of contact for Corporate Communications during an adverse event or crisis, drafting and dispersing crisis communication messages
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, English or other related fields of study)
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Content Management, Corporate Communications, Creative Services, or Intranet design (or similar role) with a mid to large size organization (1000+ employees) required
- Exceptional communication skills, including writing, editing and proofreading
- Ability to explain difficult concepts through creation of easy-to-follow, comprehensive communications, strategies and plans
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and SharePoint
- Experience with various communications, design, photography or videography programs
- Proven self-starter who can move quickly, validate content, and iterate to find the most optimal written, design or digital solution
- Strong initiative, organizational and problem-solving skills, and ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Ability to foster business relationships, earning trust of assigned stakeholders and leadership across the enterprise
