The Mechanical Systems, Externals & Nacelles (MSEN) Module Center Engineering department is seeking talented engineering candidates to join our summer internship program as a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Engineer to be part of the Engineering support team for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) activity as the MRO Engineer (MRO-E) onsite engineering liaison representing Pratt & Whitney in front of our US Air Force customer at the US Air Force Depot at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK. This team is responsible for all Mechanical Systems and Externals hardware for the F135, F119, F100, TF33 and J52 programs.
What You Will Do
- Work as the onsite MRO intern under the direction of a senior MRO engineer supporting engine/hardware investigations and dispositions.
- Trend hardware health for limits updates, Component Improvement Program (CIP) and repair tasks activities.
- Communicate with our Customer Support Engineering (CSE) and base personnel on field support and quality issues.
- Act as the primary interface onsite for the CIPTs, Site Leadership, and Onsite Customers.

Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
- Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience
- Experience with engine hardware

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
