Total Average Compensation: $48,331.25 – $54,571.88 (DOE, year-round salary)

Position Summary
Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is a network of top-rated Arizona public charter schools dedicated to delivering an advanced, rigorous curriculum that prepares scholars to become confident learners and future global leaders. We are seeking a passionate, culturally responsive 2nd Grade Teacher who is committed to equity, excellence, and the academic success of every scholar. Key Responsibilities
Deliver instruction aligned to AMS curriculum standards using differentiated strategies to support students performing both above and below grade level
Actively participate in weekly professional development, grade-level meetings, and professional learning communities
Communicate consistently with families and lead parent-teacher conferences to support student growth inside and outside the classroom
Collaborate with administrators and school staff to create a safe, structured, and academically focused learning environment
Use measurable student data to monitor progress, adjust instruction, and demonstrate academic growth
Contribute to the continuous improvement of instructional practices and school-wide procedures
Implement PBIS frameworks and preventative intervention strategies to support students’ social-emotional development and readiness for higher learning
Minimum Qualifications
Passion for serving Title I and English Language Learner (ELL) populations in underserved communities
Ability to pass a background check and obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Strong analytical skills with enthusiasm for data-driven instruction
Willingness and ability to implement established, rigorous curricula with fidelity
Collaborative mindset paired with initiative and adaptability
