 Arnett’s Intensive Care Unit consists of 14 beds in the main ICU with the ability to flex up to 20 beds by utilizing PCU space. Our nurses care for a number of high acuity conditions, including open heart surgery, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, cardiac arrest, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, acute respiratory distress syndrome, DKA, acute renal failure, organ donation after brain death, and organ donation after cardiac death. Our unit is seeking nurses with a minimum of one year of experience, preferably in an acute patient setting.

Qualifications 

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
