Description

The UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking faculty members (tenure-track, open rank) for joint appointments in the Department of Neuroscience and the Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute. We seek outstanding scientists with pioneering and rigorous research programs aimed at developing a mechanistic understanding of normal or abnormal nervous system function. All areas of neuroscience are welcome. Applicants wth strong quantitative or theoretical elements to their research program are encouraged to apply. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.

Qualifications

Individuals applying for this position must hold a doctoral degree such as Ph.D. and completed postdoctoral training.
