Working in an Agile, Scrum international team you will be expected to contribute to top-quality Docebo LMS Products under tight deadlines.  As a Senior Developer, you will be resolving any critical issues, and developing projects using your front and back-end knowledge with an emphasis on the back end.<br/>Reports to: Software Development ManagerLocation: Remote Italy or Hybrid, (Biassono/Milan) <h3>Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li>Develop main Docebo LMS products using PHP OOP and MySQL as the main code base</li><li>Drive the creation of Microservices architectures </li><li>Follow project development and manage practical activities and tasks related to the project's implementation</li><li>Contribute to our software architecture and optimize existing code</li><li>Work closely with the product owners to define feature specifications, and collaboratively refine a technical solution</li></ul> <h3>Requirements:</h3> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of web development experience in a similar position</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Enterprise-level projects experience</li><li>Track record of developing scalable web applications</li><li>Strong knowledge of handwritten PHP and Object Oriented Patterns </li><li>In-depth experience with MySQL and strong knowledge of optimization methods</li><li>Experience with automated testing, including TDD</li><li>Familiarity with MVC frameworks</li><li>Experience developing RESTful APIs</li><li>Strong command of a Linux-based development environment </li><li>Experience in conducting code reviews</li><li>Experience with version control systems</li><li>Understanding of web-related security issues (preferably the OWASP)</li><li>Ability to properly document your code and make it reusable to other teams</li><li>Strong communication and influencing skills; ability to guide technical discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences </li><li>Ability to solve issues with clear methods while knowing when to take intuitive leaps</li><li>A deep understanding of cross-functional multiple-team-based software development</li><li>Strong attention to detail and astute diagnostic skills</li><li>Ability to drive own development within a product use case and with a focus on high quality</li></ul> <h3>Nice to have:</h3> <ul> <li>Experience in a Cloud or SaaS development environment</li><li>General knowledge of HTML5, SASS, Angular2+ or any FE framework</li><li>Working understanding of industry-leading IT automation and cloud tooling, including but not limited to JIRA, Docker, Git/Stash, Test Automation (Selenium), AWS, Enterprise Level Applications, Services, and more</li><li>Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>#LI-Remote<br/>Benefits &amp; Perks 😍-Generous Vacation Policy, plus 2 extra floating holidays to use for religious or cultural events that matter to you-Employee Share Purchase Plan-Career progression/internal mobility opportunities-Four employee resource groups to get involved with (the Docebo Women's Alliance, PRIDE, BIDOC, and Green Ambassadors)-WeWork partnership and “Work from Anywhere” program<br/>Hybrid Office Model 🏢We believe when people are together, they develop deeper relationships and accelerate innovation.
