Stellar Virtual was founded in 2019 with one school in Texas. We serve parents of K-12 students, unhappy with their current school, or needing an at-home/flexible learning environment. Today, Stellar Virtual has grown to six schools across three states: Texas, Arizona, and Indiana. Stellar Virtual is committed to going above and beyond for our virtual families.

Position Overview
The Secondary English/Language Arts (ELA) Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and standards-aligned instruction to students in grades 6-12. In this virtual role, you will create a supportive online learning environment that fosters academic and social growth while utilizing technology to enhance the student experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, skilled in adapting to a virtual format, and committed to developing students’ reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lessons in U.S. History, World History, Government, Economics, and Social Studies, using virtual instructional tools and methodologies.
• Ensure content is accessible, engaging, and relevant to students.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and interactive online learning environment.
• Encourage critical thinking, historical inquiry, and student participation in virtual discussions and projects.
• Use formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and their guardians.
• Identify and support students’ individual learning needs through differentiated instruction, tutoring, and intervention strategies.
• Proctor state testing exams with students during in-person events, which may require periodic travel within the S
