Technical Product Owner - New York - Hybrid Work

About the role

We're on the lookout for a Technical Product Owner who can wear multiple hats – a visionary, a strategist, and a doer to keep up, and collaborate with our VP Tech Strategy, product management and technology leads to define intelligent technical solutions. In this role, you'll be the linchpin of our product development efforts, particularly for our ambitious projects with world-renown brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision and Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and articulate the vision for our software products, aligning them with business and diverse user needs.

• Backlog Management: Work with delivery personnel to prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is focused on tasks that deliver maximum value.
• Sprint Planning: Lead sprint planning sessions, collaborating with developers to clarify requirements and set achievable goals.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, gathering requirements and feedback to continuously refine the product vision.
• User Story Development: Create and/or verify detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with QA teams to ensure features meet quality standards and deliver an exceptional user experience.
• Market and User Research: Conduct market analysis and user research to inform product decisions and understand customer needs.

Requirements

• +5 years in a Product Owner or related role, with a strong emphasis on software products.
• Solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies. Familiarity with Flutter, Angular, and developer opperations, while not a must, will be highly beneficial.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information, turning it into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in an Agile environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
