Your work environment at EXP

International engineering firm, is currently searching for a Civil Intern for our Coral Gables, FL Municipal group to assist with civil design.

 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Assist with report writing and setup
• Development of plans and details utilizing CAD
• Development of engineering calculations utilizing examples and guidance of senior engineers
• Support senior and junior engineers with office-related tasks.

What your experience looks like

• Experience with CIVIL3D and AutoCAD. Microstation experience a preference.
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Maturity and excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Current undergraduate student working towards a Bachelor of Science or Technical degree Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related curriculum
• Previous civil engineering/construction experience desired, FDOT design and construction experience a plus
• Must be flexible with schedule, allowing weekend work
• Must be willing to work outside in good and inclement weather
• Great organization and prioritization abilities
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license
