ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Developer for a position that is located on a customer site in Huntsville, AL.

This individual will be designing, implementing, and maintaining a hybrid cloud environment that will satisfy the client’s operational mission needs. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies for cloud-based platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) that will maximize the program’s operations and enhance efficiency using hybrid cloud (AWS / Azure).  
•  Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and patch virtual switches, etc. in the cloud layer.
• Enable CI/CD, DevSecOps, low code/no code, and infrastructure as code (IaC) platforms in AWS for the program.
• Lead the design, development, and management of the underlying cloud infrastructure, such as virtual machines, storage, and networking components using hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure).
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications and cybersecurity tools in a cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance, scalability and security.
• Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.
• Analyze applications and make recommendations for what applications, tools and/or platforms can move, migrate, and/or be deployed into a cloud environment.
• Ensure NIST compliant security measures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in the cloud environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT experience with 2+ years of cloud development / engineering experience.
• Experience working in a program using Agile and DevSecOps methods.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and IaaS and PaaS services to include DevOps, network and security tools and services.
• Experience in automation and server-less solution architecting development.
• Experience with Linux based environment  
• Experience testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering cloud infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity
• Experience developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
