Role Overview
Given our exciting and progressive growth plans, we are looking for an exceptional Site Reliability Engineer to come join our global business.
Working collaboratively in one of our Platform teams, you will be accountable for proactively making services at Fresha reliable.

Key Accountabilities

• Scalability - Build software that helps to make Fresha services highly scalable and fault-tolerant
• Uptime - Ensure our platform services have the required levels of up time and quality of service
• Observability - Contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of our observability and monitoring solutions
• Kubernetes - Maintain Kubernetes ecosystem at Fresha
• Cloud Infrastructure - Design reliable Cloud infrastructure, implement reusable cloud-uptime components as code
• Self-Service - Enable product teams to self-service, participating in the development of a developer platform
• Production Issue Resolution - Participate in processes related to detecting and resolving production issues
• Standards Compliance - Support product teams in building services that comply with our standards

Additional and Ad-hoc Duties

• On-Call Duties - Participate in on-call and support duties
• SRE Collaboration - Participate in SRE guild meetings and discussions to drive the SRE and Cloud practice forward
• Continuous Learning - Keep up to date with technology and industry changes
• SRE Advocacy - Spread the SRE culture

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Cloud Expertise - In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Kubernetes Management - Professional experience in managing Kubernetes clusters
• Kubernetes Operators - Experience in building Kubernetes operators
• Web-Scale Applications - Professional experience building the infrastructure of web-scale online applications & services (how to measure, monitor, and assess their health)
• Terraform - In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code, Terraform
• Scripting - Professional knowledge of scripting languages like JS, Python or Ruby
• Project Management - Ability to plan and deliver small engineering projects
• Creative Problem-Solving - Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Relationship Building - Ability to interact with people from across the business and build strong relationships, including the
