The Role

We are looking for a talented, experienced, and driven Senior Project Manager to help us drive functional excellence within MongoDB’s Technical Services organization. Our portfolio is broad and highly cross-functional, with each day bringing new challenges and opportunities. 

In this role, you will lead diverse strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, support team development, and deliver impactful results. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, develop and execute project plans, provide operational support, assist in goal setting and metrics reporting, own field communications, and drive initiatives to completion. As part of our team, you’ll assess complex challenges and make quick and thoughtful decisions. You’ll anticipate obstacles, pivot as needed, and take reasonable risks to maximize our collective impact. You’ll work with a diverse group of people in an inclusive and high trust culture.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Own the Details. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, other artifacts to ensure ownership and delivery against non-arbitrary milestones and deadlines

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in project and/or program management
  • Proven successes (and learnings from failures) in delivering multiple complex and dynamic projects
  • Ability to think long term and see the big picture, to build consensus to make everyone more successful
  • Demonstrable qualitative and quantitative skills. You understand and have dug into the data, with strong critical thinking skills to gather insights and support impactful decision making
  • Flexibility and adaptability. Able to think on one’s feet, bridge gaps, and be creative in defining new or evolving problem spaces and generating solutions
  • High bar communication. Able to convince, influence, and translate across a diverse set of technical and non-technical groups
  • Likes working in a complex, fast-paced, “start-up l
