Production Lead

We are Data Spectrum, (a subsidiary of Motivo Engineering) a product development firm proud of its innovative and reliable engineering solutions. We are an engineering resource, supporting our clients’ product development, and offering engineering and legacy production services. We are on call as a multi-resource technical department to fill in where they need help with skills and technologies not available on their staff. 

We are looking to grow the team by adding a production lead. This person will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily production activities of the production team. This key position will ensure that production goals and objectives are met promptly and efficiently while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. This leader will also be responsible for inventory control duties. Packaging, shipping, and receiving of in-process, purchased, and finished goods.  Initiating the kitting and release of projects to the production floor.  This position will also manage the inventory tracking system (ERP – NetSuite)  to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels. Evaluation of processes to improve inventory control procedures.  Analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory shortages.

Base Rate Range: $23/hr - $30/hr

Salary is dependent on experience, knowledge, and interview performance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite and other related software 
• Knowledge and use of ERP processes and systems execution
• Knowledge of production processes (electronics preferred)
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
