We are seeking a talented Cloud Network Administrator for the Training and Operational Readiness Information Services (TORIS) program at Afloat Training Group, Pacific, San Diego, CA. TORIS is the authoritative software program for managing surface ship training and readiness. As a Cloud Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of the program network infrastructure as well as providing system administration support for engineering team. Your primary focus will be ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the program, while also supporting the program during migration to AWS and future cloud-based network administration. This role requires a strong understanding of networking concepts, experience with cloud architectures, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years of experience maintaining system infrastructure in AWS.
• Experience as a network administrator with experience in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, architectures, and security principles.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers; understanding of virtualization technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

Personnel Clearance Level:

• Possess an active DoD issued Secret security clearance.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in the following disciplines: Information Technology or related field of study. Equivalent work experience will substitute educational requirement.

Mandatory Certifications:

• IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+)
