The role has no direct reports for this role.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities (tasks)</strong></p><ul><li> Will report to Software Test Manager / Sr. Test Manager.</li><li>Primarily responsible for quality of the software development and deployment.</li><li>Analyze the Use cases/User Stories/ Requirements in Jira for validity and feasibility.</li><li>Determine a test plan after analyzing the specification and Impact Analysis.</li><li>Create test design in the test management tool, test Data and Automation scripts for testing and maintain the traceability.</li><li>Understanding of the solutions that are being tested.</li><li>Understanding the project and product requirements.</li><li>Configure the test software/environment in which the test will be performed. </li><li>Perform all levels of testing, Sanity, Smoke, System, Integration, Regression, Certification Test etc.,</li><li>Perform manual or automated testing as per the test plan and ensure sufficient test coverage.</li><li>Detect issues with Software deliverable or Documentation or Jira and raise and track the Software defects and inconsistencies. Testing our products at a functional as well as technical level, with a focus on black box testing.</li><li>Perform peer review within the project.</li><li>Validate the test results and document and report the current result to management like Test Lead, Test Team Lead, Test Manager, Technical Project Manager, Project Manager, etc.,</li><li>Responsible for the CICD process, like monitoring Jenkins, ensuring the pipelines are up to date.</li><li>Co-ordinate across teams in case of debugging issues and build a good rapport with the development team.</li><li>Participate in all the Agile ceremonies.</li><li>Look out for opportunities and improve the process efficiently.</li><li>Mentor and Guide team member.</li><li>Provide Support during project releases and attend Customer meeting incases needed.</li><li>Provide timely solutions.</li><li>Willing to learn new technologies and implement the same in the projects.</li><li>Might be a part of interview Panel.</li><li>Maintain information security in the workplace and in the organization.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Performance indicators</strong></p><ul><li>The number of defects found by the customers should be less than the number of defects found by the QA team.</li><li>Total number of defects should have a decreasing graph.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Directives</strong></p><p>Applicable areas of the quality management system</p><p> </p><p>This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Qualifications<br/> Basic Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience</li></ul><p><br/> <strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)</li><li>The candidates must have recent automation testing experience with 2 to 3+ years of automation testing.</li><li>Should have broad understanding of Software engineering concepts and Testing Methodology.</li><li>Have in depth experience in impact analysis, test design and test Execution.</li><li>Strong background in test automation with a focus on APIs.</li><li>Automated testing APIs using SOAP UI/Ready API.</li><li>Strong experience with scripting language like Groovy/Java Script.</li><li>Experience with Android Application Testing and Junit Framework.</li><li>Experience with test Automation tools like: Selenium and Appium(preferred).</li><li>Experience with version Control tools.</li><li>Experience with continuous Integration tools like Jenkins.</li><li>Have experience working in an Agile environment.</li><li>Programming and Debugging skills are must have.</li><li>Should have han
