JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Programmer/Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and implement a variety of applications and systems, ranging from web-based solutions for intranet/extranet sites to other enterprise platforms and services. You will collaborate closely with other developers, business units, and external vendors to deliver innovative solutions that support all areas of our business operations. This position encompasses new systems development, maintenance of existing systems, and the transition of legacy systems. Flexible work hours (6:30 AM to 5:30 PM), a potential 4-day work week, and partial remote work are available, but commuting to the job location is required.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Program Development: Design, code, compile, test, document, and implement new programs as requested. Coordinate the implementation of new programs and systems.

· Program Maintenance: Modify and maintain existing programs/systems as needed, including redesigning, coding, compiling, testing, documenting, and implementing changes.

· Troubleshooting: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performing necessary repairs and testing to ensure system reliability.

· Data Resource Management: Design and manage data resources for programs/systems, including creating and maintaining physical data structures and elements.

· Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless system integration and delivery.

· Mentorship: Experience with and/or willingness to mentor other developers.

· Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.


Position Requirements

· Minimum Age: 18 years old.

· Education/Training: Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience and training.

· Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant work experience with demonstrated competence in system development.

Technical Skills:

· Comprehensive knowledge of system development, web-based programming, and general business operations.

· Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Principles, Design Patterns, and Software Engineering best practices.

· Excellent problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills.

· Ability to create sound, innovative solutions for complex challenges.

· Proficiency with the following technologies:

· .NET Core/.NET 5, ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, ADO.NET

· RESTful APIs, Blazor, Entity Framework Core

· HTML, JavaScript Frameworks (Bootstrap, JQuery, etc.)

· Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, queries, stored procedures, etc.)

· XML/JSON/Web Services

· Microsoft Visual Studio, Web Forms/Web Controls, MVC

· Microsoft IIS/Azure

· PowerShell

· Information Builders Business Intelligence tools

· Microsoft SharePoint administration and/or development

· ServiceNow administration and/or development

· Mobile Development (Xamarin Forms)

· Internet Security
