The Boeing Company is looking for an Anti-Tamper Systems/Hardware Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO.
Boeing’s Missile Defense Program is seeking motivated and talented professionals to join its ranks. These positions will support the performance of anti-tamper efforts for the National Team Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Programs & Networks. Missile Defense programs are part of the Ballistic Missile Defense System which defends the United States homeland and its regional allies all over the world. The selected candidate will apply extensive expertise and solve complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. The work will be performed without appreciable direction and is reviewed for desired results from a relatively long time perspective; erroneous decisions would normally result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives. The selected candidate may function in project leadership roles and represents the organization as prime customer contact on significant technical matters on contracts.

Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Anti-tamper (AT) and C2BMC leadership on updates and/or changes to the C2BMC system
- Perform Anti-Tamper Risk and Threat Management Assessments and reports for the C2BMC program
- Develop the analysis process and preparation of the AT plan and provide coordination and input for near-term fielding decisions
- Develop, deliver, and maintain C2BMC AT Plan, C2BMC AT Evaluation Plan, C2BMC Key Management Plan, and the C2BMC Program Protection Plan
- Develop, deliver, and maintain Critical Program Information (CPI) analysis, Defense Exportability Assessments, and defense export strategy
- Develop, deliver, and maintain waivers for CPI, AT or defense exportability features
- Assess program Anti-Tamper designs and implementation plans in support of verification and validation (V&V) efforts
- Develop and deliver recommendations to improve program protection while meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives
- Assess program protection and Anti-Tamper designs and implementation plans in support of verification and validation (V&V) efforts
- Identify risk-based technical countermeasures for the protection of C2BMC Critical Program Information and Critical Components.
- Brief Anti-Tamper and Program Protection requirements and prepare white papers and evaluations as required
- Support program milestone reviews and Fielding Decisions and verify entrance criteria is satisfied by having the Anti-Tamper and Program Protection products approved.
- Interact with customers to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness.
- Support developing plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans.
- Keep senior management informed on major accomplishments, issues and concerns.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. (Colorado Springs, CO.)
This position may require the ability to obtain access to an MDA facility. Access to the facility requires a background investigation by U.S. government authorities.
This position requires candidate acceptance by industry partner resource control board.
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
- Minimum 9 or more years' related work experience.
- Candidates must have an active IAT Level 2 certification.
