Job Description Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Safety professional to join our Global Corporate Safety Leadership Team as Global Occupational Health and Safety Senior Manager. The successful candidate should have a proven track record in driving exceptional Safety performance, continuous improvement, and Company Standards compliance within manufacturing and/or distribution organization. The Corporate Safety team provides thought leadership, governance and capability development across the Coca-Cola system leveraging the global Safety Community.
Scope & Impact
The Senior Manager, Global Health & Safety is responsible for implementing safety initiatives across the Coca-Cola System, enabling progress in safety performance. This role collaborates closely with Operating Units, Bottling Partners, and the Global Safety Council to advance the TCCS Global Safety Strategy. The scope encompasses designing and executing global safety programs, developing system-wide capabilities, and defining roadmaps to achieve short- and long-term safety goals. The role is an individual contributor Safety Leader reporting to the Global Occupational Health & Safety Lead within the TCCC Corporate Quality, Safety, and Environment function.
Location: Preferred locations are Costa Rica, Mexico, Atlanta, Brussels, Turkey, or other central locations with a TCCC office.
What You'll Do for Us:
Partner with Operations Units and bottlers to execute key safety programs across the Coca-Cola System, from manufacturing to distribution and marketplace.
Serve as a key thought leader in the Global Safety Council (GSC), driving execution of focus areas and ensuring alignment with TCCS global safety strategy and safety performance metrics.
Leverage the Global Safety network to share successful practices, insights, and knowledge sharing, while enhancing safety technology initiatives, including metrics for leading and lagging indicators.
Advance understanding of Human and Organizational Performance (HOP), ensuring readiness for implementation through capability building and organizational assessments in this aspect.
Develop and oversee execution plans for critical safety processes including but not limited to machinery safety, hazardous energy control, contractor management, Life-Saving Rules, and other programs as per needs of global network.
Support developing KORE safety requirements, guidance, and global governance frameworks. Identify existing and emerging needs and collaborate with governance teams to adapt requirements as necessary.
Work closely with global safety auditors to enhance audit effectiveness and apply operational learnings.
Lead efforts to understand Serious Incident and Fatality (SIF) risks, sharing lessons learned across the system.
