Responsibilities
Noblis ESI is seeking a Combat Systems Project Engineer for their Chantilly location to:
- The Combat Systems Project Engineer supports the COTR by providing acquisition support and technical guidance and recommendations related to the integration of National Systems-based capabilities into Department of Defense (DoD) combat systems, platforms, and architectures.
- Specifically, the Combat Systems Project Engineer will have technical knowledge and operational experience using National Systems intelligence reporting and capabilities in support of military operations with a specific emphasis placed on Special Operations Forces.
- Serve as technical expert in their assigned area
- Support the PM in multiple areas which include operational integration, program management, acquisition support, analytic support, technical analysis, user requirement management/development, architecture, CONOPs, and customer outreach and support
- Other responsibilities include administrative and technical support to the Government leadership team, internal cross tower coordination, external mission partners and other DoD/IC customers
Required Qualifications
- Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance. Ability to obtain/maintain a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience; or, High School equivalent and 14+ years of relevant experience.
- 5 years or greater of experience in Project and Acquisition Management, with emphasis on Government acquisition in DoD, IC, or U.S. Special Operations Command?
- Have a strong technical understanding and operational experience using tactical networks and communications capabilities.
- Experience managing cost, schedule and performance aspects for rapid capability development and integration efforts
- Experience developing National Systems-based technical solutions to address tactical network and communications capability gaps
- Developed acquisition documentation related to Requests for Proposals to industry for capability development efforts
- Served as a technical SME for all SOF related matters
- Fundamental understanding of DoD and IC tactics, techniques, and procedures including CONOPS and architectures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform other duties as assigned
- Possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously
- Must be able to travel

- Supported U.S. Special Operations Command
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to summarize and brief senior level Government leaders, civilians and military officers
- Ability to build and present technical briefings and reports with specific knowledge of SIGINT, GEOINT, MASINT, Multi-INT, or Communications
