GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

To clean all areas of assigned locations in an effective and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. General housekeeping duties such as clean, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash for assigned locations.
2. Inspect all areas for cleanliness.
3. Ensure use and storage of all cleaning materials are within compliance of policy and procedures.
4. Monitor and report health and safety issues to supervisor.
5. Submit cleaning supply requests as needed.
6. Troubleshoot facilities and equipment within personal ability and report all other problems to supervisor.
7. Communicate with staff members.
8. Secure facilities at end of workday.
9. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum requirement; general educational background without high school completion.
