Senior Data & AI Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data & AI Architect with over 15 years of experience in designing and leading data-driven solutions for large-scale enterprises, particularly in the Manufacturing or Aerospace & Defense industries. 
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise architecture, data platform modernization, data migration, data modeling, program management, project management, and leading teams across on-shore and off-shore locations. 
This role also requires hands-on experience in Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, along with a strong AI background. 

Additionally, the candidate should have significant experience in implementing land and expand strategies within large enterprise organizations, driving initial project success and expanding the footprint of data and AI solutions across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Architecture: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise data architectures. Ensure alignment with business goals, IT strategy, and scalability requirements, especially in the context of Manufacturing or Aerospace & Defense operations.

• Data Platform Modernization: Drive the modernization of legacy data platforms into cloud-native data environments (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure/AWS), ensuring high performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness tailored to the needs of Manufacturing and Aerospace & Defense industries.
• Data Migration: Oversee and manage large-scale data migration projects, ensuring seamless transition of data from on-premises to cloud-based platforms.
  Data Modeling: Lead efforts in designing and implementing efficient and scalable data models (both transactional and analytical) to support business intelligence, machine learning, and reporting needs specific to Manufacturing and Aerospace & Defense domains.
• AI Strategy: Define and implement AI and machine learning strategies, leveraging tools such as Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, and other AI frameworks to drive innovation across the organization, with a focus on AI use cases in Manufacturing and Aerospace & Defense.
• Program & Project Management: Lead and manage complex data transformation projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  On-shore and Off-shore Team Management: Manage and coordinate teams across on-shore and off-shore locations. Ensure seamless collaboration, effective communication, and timely delivery of projects and tasks.
• Land and Expand Strategy: Drive the land and expand approach, initially implementing solutions with a specific business unit or department, then strategically growing the presence and impact of data and AI solutions across the broader enterprise. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure success and expansion within the organization.
• Industry-Specific Knowledge: Leverage deep domain expertise in Manufacturing or Aerospace & Defense to identify unique business requirements, regulatory challenges, and opportunities for innovation through data and AI solutions.
  Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful delivery of AI-driven data solutions.
