The position can be covered both in Rome or Vimercate (Milan).

 

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Business, market, and technology changes often result in realignment of business processes structures and transforming their landscapes.

Within SAP Digital Business Services organization SAP Digital Analytics Services Italy team serves SAP customers in in the design, optimization and flexibility of their business and core processes from the strategic, managerial and technological perspective.

 

As Analytics Architects we advise our customers in the early stages of decision making, process and solution design, software architecture, and implementation strategies through implementation projects up to the productive rollout and subsequent follow-up and optimization. Beside projects, another focus area for us is support Business Development and thought leadership. Our experts work closely to develop new standard and are well connected with experts from other fields. Our goal is to help customers to make the most of the available solutions. At the same time, we share our experience with the development department and thus contribute to improving these solutions constantly. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Provide expertise in SAP analytics solution, such as SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BPC, HANA SQL data warehouse, S/4HANA embedded analytics and SAP BI systems.
• Cloud oriented mindset, with a special focus on SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Data Warehouse Cloud
• Good experience with and knowledge of SAP Business Suite, etc.
• Experience of consulting in a variety of different industry sectors
• Identifying customer’s business needs and designing the appropriate solutions (technical and functional) from the Analytics Portfolio and beyond
• Conducting feasibility studies and system analyses
• Detailed planning of process implementation
• Define detailed blueprint for development requirements
• Ability to independently articulate & define analytics solutions being used by supervisory board, executive committees and client senior management levels
• Ability to lead or participate in business sessions to identify and document analytic use cases.
• Leverage knowledge of data warehouse and software development methodologies to contribute to the overall planning of projects by recommending approaches, identifying resources, developing timelines and resource estimates.
• Resolving simple to very complex reporting and implementation issues of clients and provide knowledge transfer to customers.
• Develop and document enterprise knowledge in the form of technical articles, and best practices
• Involvement in seminars and the production of marketing materials
• Willingness to travel and be based on client sites when required
• Willingness to participate in the sales process as a subject matter expert

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Graduate / post graduate Degree
• Italian language at a native level is required
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills is a must, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences.
• Strong conceptual design and analytics capabilities with an ability to balance theory and practical reality.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities in complex, multi-vendor computing environments.
• Self-motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation capabilities, especially in driving consensus among senior technical resources.
• Must be a flexible self-starter who can ramp up with new technologies quickly and can adapt to a growing and rapidly evolving environment
• Ability to manage risks and issues and manage escalations through proper channels.
