Enterprise Data Analyst

As member of Enterprise Data Analysis team, The Enterprise Data Analyst is acting as an owner of all the information that are produced in the Data and Analytics department and is responsible for interpreting the number based on their business acumen to enable data driven decision making.

Main Accountabilities

• Prepares and reviews reports and dashboards for various business functions and other departments. Data and reports are generated automatically, and the validation resides with the role
• Reviews data tapes and prepares reports for regulators, investors, and other external parties. Participates in communication with those parties and assists with any questions, investigations, issues
• Integrates with senior leadership and departments heads providing insights based on data driven views
• Focuses on efficient and effective communication of the numbers by eliminating duplications, inefficiencies and assisting in democratizing the data to help the business find and leverage existing data and enable reusability
• Works close with the other departments of Data and Analytics to generate fit for purpose reports/dashboards
• Participates in meetings and committees explaining the accuracy and the logic behind the data.
• Supports Business Analysis department with requirements gathering and testing, when needed

Requirements

Education, Skills and Experience

• BSc degree in Finance or similar. MSc will be considered as an asset
• 3-5 years of relevant experience (analyst, reporting, dashboards)
• Strong knowledge on non- performing loans and portfolio management skills
• Experience in dashboard platforms  such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik or data mining tools
• Advance knowledge of Excel and basic knowledge in SQL. Python and R will be considered as an asset
• Knowledge of EBA guidelines will be considered as an asset.
