Assistant Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Assistant Project Manager to be based on-site with a high-profile e-commerce global organization in Redmond, WA. In this client facing role, you will assist the Project Management team in managing lab related projects with complex MEP components. Come join our team!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist the project management team with various parts of the project such as constructability review, value engineering, pay app reviews, schedule development, FF&E program development and execution. 
• Assist in formulating the design, bid, and project phase of scheduling. 
• Assist in the Addenda and Bid process. 
• Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct pre-bid and job start meetings. 
• Monitor contract compliance and report concerns to Project Manager. 
• Under the supervision of Project Manager, facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes. 
• Oversee approvals from applicable government agencies are received and documented. 
• Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct close out activities and assist with building occupancy. 
• Prepares field reporting for review by Project Manager. 
• Review RFIs/Submittals for completeness before distribution to design team. 

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Experience managing MEP related projects.
• Lab construction management experience highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate with various stakeholders, internal and external to the company. 
• Demonstrate an understanding of how project documentation impacts the project flow. 
• Ability to read blueprints. 
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently. 
• Deliver quality work product by role modeling organizational core values. 
• Consistently communicate and collaborate with team members and clients. 
• Build relationships with peers, leaders, and clients. 
• Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment. 

Preferred Education and Experience:

Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field 

Experience: 3+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management

The salary range for this full-time role is $ 58,800.00 - 127,400.00 USD per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
