This role focuses on Record to Report (R2R) while also serving as a leader in Finance Transformation initiatives.

As a cross-functional steward of process excellence, the GPO partners with cross-functional business stakeholders to deliver consistent, compliant, and scalable outcomes. This role does not manage transactional operations directly but instead ensures that processes, systems, and data evolve to support efficiency, compliance, and business growth.

The R2R responsibilities include driving a harmonized, policy-aligned, and digitally enabled reporting ecosystem. The Finance Transformation responsibilities extend to shaping and delivering enterprise-wide change, modernizing financial systems, and embedding digital capabilities to future-proof the Finance function.

Essential Duties

  • Lead the end-to-end design and governance of the Record to Report process, including chart of accounts, journal entries, intercompany accounting, trial balance, reconciliations, fixed asset management, and reporting workflows.
  • Establish and maintain global process standards, role definitions, and control frameworks to ensure compliance, transparency, and audit readiness.
  • Govern integration of reporting processes across ERPs, subledgers, and third-party tools.
  • Drive global harmonization of close routines, ensuring a standardized and risk-controlled model.
  • Partner with IT and Finance stakeholders to enable system modernization, automation, and reporting tool enhancements (e.g., SAP, BlackLine, OneStream).

Finance Transformation

  • Define and execute the Finance transformation roadmap to modernize processes, systems, and capabilities.
  • Lead ERP and financial system modernization initiatives, ensuring alignment with global process standards.
  • Identify and implement digital finance solutions, including automation, advanced analytics, AI/ML, and self-service reporting.
  • Drive change management to embed new ways of working across Finance, ensuring adoption and sustainability.
  • Partner with global and regional leaders to align transformation initiatives with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
  • Benchmark performance against industry best practices and lead continuous improvement.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes of finance transformation initiatives.

Leadership & Governance

  • Serve as escalation point for cross-functional conflicts or misalignment.
  • Represent Finance in enterprise governance forums for prioritization and performance.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 15 or more years of experience in finance process design, transformation, or global controllership, with proven track record in both R2R and broader finance modernization.
  • Demonstrated success leading global, cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, controls, and risk management frameworks (including SOX).
  • Experience with ERP and financial consolidation platforms (SAP, Oracle, BlackLine, OneStream, Hyperion, or equivalent).
  • Expertise in finance transformation methodologies, including process re-engineering, digital enablement, and change management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
