Starting pay rate: $15.90/hr

Description

This position is responsible for packing parts and undergrade into 75 to 85 pound tubs and stacking 25 tubs on a pallet at 5 high.  The Downgrade Packer packs parts from the Reworker into tubs with ice.  The tubs are labeled and then stacked onto pallets.  The birds from the Rehanger that will not hang are packed into tubs with ice and labeled undergrade.  The downgrade Packer will also weigh out five pound bags of dark meat parts and pack these into tubs with ice or into boxes labeled drums, thighs or whole legs. These tubs will be taken to Line 50 to be packed out into cases.  Parts for cut up are also brought from the cooler to be worked through by the Downgrade Packer.   This position requires bending, standing and walking for 10 hours.  The temperature in this area is 45 degrees.  Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
