Research Co-Op (Part-Time Winter Internship)

We’re looking for a Research Co-op to join our team from January to April (16 weeks).

This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, which will involve commuting into our San Francisco office at least once a week.

What you will do:

Support our Research Operations team with ongoing human research studies, both internally and with external partners by:

• Performing manual data quality checks from our data collections
• Co-authoring protocols and standard operating procedures documents
• Tracking project objectives and milestones
• Assisting with coordinating and running data collections
• Managing our research equipment inventory at the San Francisco office
• Collaborating with our data engineering team to implement automated data quality checks

Requirements

We would love to have you on our team, if you are a current undergraduate student and have:

• Human research studies experience in human biology, psychology, cognitive science, biomedical engineering, or other related field
• Familiarity with requirements of IRB, human research ethics, CITI training, or similar
• Keen interest in wearable technology, human research study operations, cross-functional project management
• Attention to detail and rigor with documentation
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, MS Excel, iOS, and Android
