U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Digital Analytics experience to lead the end-to-end design and development of solutions for collecting and managing digital and marketing clickstream data. This role requires a strong foundation in software engineering, automation, and scalable data collection architectures.

The ideal candidate will have a solid software engineering background and deep expertise in digital data collection, third-party digital analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.), and enterprise architecture. They should have experience designing and implementing clickstream data solutions that integrate with complex enterprise ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Analytics using Adobe Analytics and or Google Analytics for marketing, product, and business teams with powerful insights. These insights help our businesses understand their customers and the paths they take across channels, products, content, and services.

  • Design and develop scalable, self-service digital data collection platforms aligned with enterprise technology strategies.

  • Automate and optimize data collection, data quality, and monitoring processes using JavaScript.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and business stakeholders to bring solutions to life.

  • Ensure data integrity and reliability, implementing robust quality control and monitoring solutions.

  • Analyze large datasets using SQL or third-party analytics platforms to extract insights and optimize data strategies.

  • Provide thought leadership on digital data collection, aligning strategies with business goals and enterprise technology frameworks.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or other clickstream data collection tools.

  • Strong JavaScript coding experience

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development best practices.

  • Proficiency in Presto, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI for data analysis and visualization.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working in financial services or retail industries.

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.

Hybrid/flexible schedule:

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
