SAP HCM Consultant will act as an SAP-Time & Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the HR Service Delivery Payroll and Time & Attendance team for Portuguese accounts. The SAP HCM Payroll & Time management Consultant will be responsible for the accurate and timely execution of time processes for multiple pay groups. This would include the evaluation of the Time and quota schemas, work schedule, Holidays, Shift differentials, Overtime schema rules and configuration to enhance current processes or provide appropriate defect resolution as well as the creation and execution of reports that ensure the integrity of the Time and Attendance data. SAP HCM & Payroll configuration for business requirements, schemas, PCRs, wage type creation, basic pay configuration, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties:
 

• Design and deliver high-quality solutions through SAP HCM configuration that aligns with business requirements, particularly in Payroll and Time Management (evaluation, schemas, and rules).
• Take a lead role in SAP Time Management development, including defect identification, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex issues related to overtime processing, work schedules, and holiday calendar configuration.
• Demonstrate deep expertise in wage type generation, shift differentials, and schema logic (time and quota).
• Ensure integrity of Time & Attendance data and support the delivery of HR services as part of a cross-functional project team.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP HCM & Payroll configuration (schemas, PCRs, wage types, basic pay).
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, maintaining accurate records in internal ticketing systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven SAP experience in Payroll and/or Time Management — with a focus on Portuguese Payroll.
• Strong skills in SAP HCM, MS Excel, and reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical thinking, organizational ability, and decision-making skills.
• Able to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong verbal and written communication; capable of interacting across all organizational levels.
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize, multitask, and work independently under pressure.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
