The tight-knit team of 3 is responsible for developing the 100+ DSV terminals. Our primary focus is on the extensive transformation of our existing network to optimise efficiency, performance, and quality through standardisation.  </p> <p>The European Groupage Network team is based at the DSV headquarters in Hedehusene, Denmark. However, you are not required to be based here, as we offer a hybrid work environment where many of your new colleagues work from DSV offices in Germany and the Netherlands.</p> <p> </p> <p><em>“We take great pride in the strong internal cooperation within the team and foster meaningful connections across DSV and throughout Europe,” Niels continues.</em></p> <p> </p> <p>Develop and standardise our terminal production </p> <p>As Senior Manager, you will support your team in their daily tasks, motivate them, and provide guidance, coaching, and continuous development opportunities.</p> <p> </p> <p>Moreover, you will be responsible for the execution of our cross-dock terminals standardisation strategy and ensure efficient procedures and processes for our +100 DSV Road cross-dock terminals in Europe. Doing so, you will play an important role in achieving consistency within your area and maximise our resource utilisation.</p> <p> </p> <p>Also, you can look forward to:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure seamless coordination and elevate customer satisfaction</li> <li>Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions for risk management concerning our SuperHubs</li> <li>Driving development in the utilisation of IT systems and tools to streamline operations and boost productivity.</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards</li> <li>Collaborating with colleagues and external partners, such as universities and suppliers, to optimise and innovate transportation and logistics processes</li> <li>Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance of the cross-dock terminal network in Europe</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Solid leadership skills, process understanding and logistics experience</p> <p>As a seasoned professional, you bring solid leadership skills and the ability to motivate, develop, and lead your team. </p> <p> </p> <p>Moreover, you not only know how to analyse complex data, but you can also identify opportunities for process improvements, and you have proven your ability to meet set goals within schedule and budget constraints. </p> <p> </p> <p>Also, we expect you to:</p> <ul> <li>Possess 7+ years of extensive experience in the transport and logistics industry and knowledge of cross dock terminals </li> <li>Hold a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field</li> <li>Have in-depth knowledge of transport and logistics systems, including experience with the use of IT systems (TMS) and optimisation operation tools</li> <li>Have experience in developing and implementing transport strategies and optimising processes</li> <li>Possess a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in cross dock terminal production</li> <li>Speak and write English effortlessly</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Want to know more and apply?  </p> <p>We will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the position and about your options in DSV.
